The Easton Salt Lake Archery Center is a state-of-the-art archery center, featuring indoor and outdoor ranges, and world-class training facilities. The center provides leadership, facilities, programs, training and education that allows archers to pursue their competitive dreams.


Overview: 

The Archery Programs Coordinator will provide an effective means of planning, tracking and executing high quality athlete development programs, including Try Archery Events, Basic, Intermediate and Competitive level classes, as well as Coach Certifications and Seminars. The Archery Programs Coordinator will also provide operational support before, during and after events as needed.


Hours:  40 hours per week including weekdays, weekends and overtime as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities


Archery Programs

 Lead and act as a point of contact for:   

  • Act as lead coach for the facility, and responsible for coaching all ESLAC programs
  • Instructor/coaching certification courses and seminars
  • Program registration management 
  • Ensuring all ranges are ready for archery programs, including but not limited to classes, camps, open shooting, and private lessons
  • Lead coach development for any facility coaches, and participate in ESDF coaching meetings
  • Assist Office Coordinator with Social Media marketing for programs
  • Create strategic partnerships with local archery and non-archery organizations to best utilize facility programs
  • Maintain inventory and quality of all program equipment

 Offer technical and logistical support as needed for:

  • ESLAC hosted and third-party archery camps
  • Group activities, open shooting, and all other archery related activity
  • Fielding phone calls at the front desk
  • Fletching program arrows

 Offer support as needed for cleanliness and organization of:

  • Indoor/Outdoor Range
  • Workshop/Locker Room
  • Garage/Center Common Areas


Support for Events


 Provide logistical/operational support for Archery related events:

  • Provide administrative support prior to and after the conclusion of events
  • Competition field configuration/set-up for tournament needs
  • Operational support throughout duration of archery events
  • Assist with break down, organization and inventory after conclusion of events
  • Assist with event registration
  • Assist with event staff, volunteers and/or independent contractors
  • Assist with other items as needed

Key Qualifications

  • Archery experience required
  • Customer Service experience required
  • Event experience required
  • Excellent communication, time management and organization skills
  • Cash/credit card handling experience 
  • Possess or be willing to obtain USA Archery Level 3 Coaching Certification, SafeSport, First-Aid, etc. (training provided)
  • Must be able to work well with children, adults, and specials needs persons
  • Must be able to work all scheduled hours which include evenings, weekends, holidays, and non-standard hours as needed
  • Social Media skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite and general knowledge of daily office operations and equipment
  • Ability to lift targets and other items of a heavy nature averaging 50 pounds in weight and other physical functions as needed
  • Ability to work in an English-speaking environment
  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality on job
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
